What are the pros and cons of an aluminium house?

I'm designing a home, and I don' want to use wood, as it is flammable and I don't want to harm as many trees. So I'm designing it (just as a design exercise) made of Aluminium, Glass, Concrete, Steel, Plastics, and Composites. What are the pros and cons of building with these materials, especially aluminium?

2. Price. Why aluminium? Seems other metals would be a lot cheaper and just as well. Wood is a good insulator on most ocassions while the other you name is usually not. Aluminium would not rust but would conduct electricity and heat unlike wood. Just do a search and look more into commericial construction for what you are looking for. rd
3. What you have stated are most of the pros. The cons include cost, expansion and contraction noise and control, and insulating to maintain proper temperatures with the changing seasons.
