What is the advantage in using coppercookware as opposed to aluminium?

I have heard that there is a possible link between aluminium and Alzheimers. I'm trying to cook organically and want to use less things that will harm me later in life!

  1. Copper disperses heat more evenly than aluminum, so you have shorter cooking times and better flavors for your meals.
  2. Copper does displace heat better and is generally considered "top-quality" for pots & pans. However, it is extremely expensive. Look for 18/10 stainless steel pans and pots with an aluminium layer "sanwhiched" into the middle. It will cost you 1/2 as much and will cause you NO health problems. good luck! FYI:( There is Aluminium in "deoderant". If you apply deoderant everyday, your body is ingesting more Aluminium from THAT ,than using aluminium pans for a 6 month period!)
  3. Aluminum leads to Alzheimers. copper is better but burns too quickly. Thick bottom stainless is easier to clean and the best to cook with. It has more even heat.
