What is the best kind of paint to use on aluminium?

I want to paint my aluminium go-kart rims black with a yellow outline, What is the best type of paint to use that want come off or scratch easily?

1. Since you are painting metal, you need to find a paint made for metal. Regular house paint won't stick. Most metal compatible paints are in a spray can........
2. Clean the rims with turps, use a good quality etch primer spray can, then undercoat (if you were fussy), and then any good quality spray enamel or epoxy paint. Mask off areas for top coat as required. Most important thing - ETCH PRIMER
