Can the normal aluminium foil trays be used for BBQs?

I'm opening a BBQ soon. And im wondering if the normal aluminium tray could be used as a disposable BBQ pit. Meaning we place the hot charcoal inside the tray and place the wire mesh above.

1. They are too thin, and will get holes burned right through them. You could use 3 or 4 of them at a time, but I don't see this being very cost effective.
2. I would imagine it would be fine. I am thinking that if you can use them at buffets and weddings with the fire under them to keep the food warm, they must be pretty hear resistant. Good luck!
3. Yes you can. Tested & Proven I used those disposable aluminium tray bought from supermarket.
