aluminium foil as substitute thermal compound on cpu?
i cant get thermal grease anywhere near where i live, i was wondering if aluminium foil would work for a while?

- Most certainly not. You could try a tiny drop of vegetable oil, it won't be as good as thermal compound but it may just work.
- No. Aluminum has very little conductivity. Order it online man.
- Do NOT plug in that computer until you get some thermal compound. There is no substitute, and running without it will fry your CPU.
