can i use aluminium foil, butter paper to make cakes n pasteries in electric oven?

can i use aluminium foil, butter paper to make cakes n pasteries in electric oven? as i bought new basic elec oven which can be used with steel n non stick pans but i want to make some cup cakes so can i use butter paper under the non stick cup cake pan or aluminium foil ?

1. Don't use foil. Foil not only conducts heat, which makes your baked goods bake quicker, but its a devil to try to get off later. Even those fancy "foil" cupcake liners are not wort using. Parchment, baking paper, even waxed paper will do. Though, if you are using a non-stick pan, why line it?
