How do you remove marks left on windows from aluminium foil?
I covered my windows with aluminium foil for 4 weeks while waiting for our blinds to be installed. I've now got streaky white crease stains on the windows and can't get it off. Can anyone tell me how to get this off?

- Vinegar! Best bet is to mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water, then give it a good scrub - make sure not to use anything too abrasive or you'll the scratch glass. You won't be able to see your progress as you go along, but give it a good scrub, then make sure to dry it well with a towel (or paper towels). Once dry, you'll be able to see how good a job you've done. Keep repeating until it's all sorted, then just use a normal window cleaner and a wiper blade to finish it off. :) DJM23
- Car Wax and a SOS pad or i prefer 000 Steel wool (polishing wool) hardware store is where you can find it. Wax on (w/wool) Wax off (w/t-shrt)
- Spray with windex , then scrape with a razor, dry with a paper towel.=)
- This is a good one. Maybe it is calcium from condisation try CLR I think it will do the trick. Try not to get it on the paint
- baking soda and vinegar work great to remove those like water spotted vines left on the window. I've also used corning ware cleaner on water spots and it will also take those streaky creases off. Then finish up by just washing and rinsing and drying the window good. Look like new again.
- use some vinegar
