How much space is needed to store structural steel (per ton)?

1. Not much Steel is pretty heavy it is more a question of what is the shape and size of the parts
2. The actual storage space for steel beams and trunnions should be around 1 cubic meter per ton, as a rule of thumb. You might need to add space to that for access and handling depending on how much you have to store and how many different shapes & forms.
