Could somebody explain grounded and non grounded and antenna stuff because I don't really get it?

I have attached aluminium foil to the inside of my double glazing, with the reflective side facing out, and my mother thinks it will cause mildew. I have done some preliminary research and found mildew will occur regardless of the foil being there, but are her concerns warranted or is she just trying to get me to take it down due to the fact it looks unsightly?

Where does aluminium foil fit in recycling? Seriously, can it be put in the recycle box? If pop cans go in why wouldn't used pieces of foil go in? Can anyone inform me on foil? Thanks for your time. I've been reusing the plates and pans and I have a stack of foil I try to reuse for dirty things outside...because of the energy used to make it. I don't go through a lot of it but some I'd like to get rid of... that's why I asked. (Our recycle collection company's pamplet doesn't list it either.)
Aluminium foil melted - is the microwave safe to use now? I've just done something very stupid - covered a plate with a sheet of aluminium foil and put it into a microwave. The corners of the sheet touched the walls, causing a couple of sparks and leaving small gray stains on the walls (which are impossible to remove). Is the microwave safe to use now? It still seems to work, but I am worried :-)

Aluminium Foil for hair highlights? I'm planning to foil my hair with Schwarzkopf intensive lightener. I was going to use aluminium foil as that is what I thought the hairdresser used last time. However the instructions clearly state not to let the product touch metals. So I tried googling it and found nothing conclusive, though I read somewhere that hairdressers use a special type of aluminium foil. Anyone know definitely? Can I use it, and if not, what are valid alternatives?
